Aalto-1, multi-payload CubeSat: In-orbit results and lessons learned

The in-orbit results and lessons learned of the first Finnish satellite Aalto-1 are briefly presented in this paper. Aalto-1, a three-unit CubeSat which was launched June 2017, performed AaSI (Aalto Spectral Imager), Radiation Monitor (RADMON), Electrostatic Plasma Brake (EPB) missions. partly fulfilled its mission objectives allowed to either perform or attempt experiments. Although attitude control partially functional, RADMON were able acquire valuable measurements. EPB successfully commissioned but tether deployment not successful.
